Grime Busters Power Washing is a locally owned exterior cleaning company based in Baltimore, Maryland. We clean homes and commercial properties, from siding, roofs and decks to brick, concrete, gutters and graffiti, across six areas in and around Baltimore.
Since 2001. That is more than twenty years of washing houses, restoring decks and cleaning commercial buildings around Baltimore. A large share of our work still comes from repeat customers who have been with us for years.
Yes to both. We are licensed with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission under MHIC# 103196, and our work is fully insured. If you would like a copy of our insurance for your records or for a property manager, just send us a request.
Yes. If you are not completely satisfied with our work, let us know and we will come back as soon as we can to touch up or fix the problem at no charge.
Our office is at 7520 Durwood Road, Baltimore, MD 21222. Our four full-service vans head out from there to Baltimore City and the surrounding counties.

Siding and house washing, roof cleaning, deck cleaning and restoration, composite deck cleaning, deck repair, brick, cement and stone cleaning, gutter cleaning, gutter guard installation, graffiti removal and commercial power washing. You can see all of them together on our Services page.
Vinyl and painted siding, EIFS, shingle and rubber roofs, wood and composite decks, fences, piers and gazebos, plus brick, stone, blue stone and concrete, including driveways, steps, patios, pool aprons and basement stairwells. If your surface is not listed, ask. The right approach depends on the material and its condition.
Yes. Once a deck is clean and dry, we can seal or stain it, along with fences and other exterior wood. The products we prefer include Sherwin-Williams Solid Stains, Ready Seal Transparent Stains and Thompson’s Advanced Clear Water Sealer, and we will help you pick the right one.
Yes. Deck repair is part of our restoration work and includes replacing rotted or warped boards, sanding rough spots and re-securing loose boards and railings. A deck should be safe to use, not just clean.
Yes. We install XTREME Gutter Guard on homes and commercial buildings to help keep leaves, twigs and pine needles out of the gutters. If you only need the gutters cleared, we do gutter cleaning as well.
You do not have to figure that out alone. Tell us what you are seeing, such as black streaks on the roof, a green film on the siding or a grey, splintering deck, and we will point you to the right service and include it in your quote.
Of course. It is common to combine work, like washing the house and cleaning the deck, or adding gutter cleaning to a roof cleaning. Mention everything you have in mind when you reach out and we can quote it together.
We can handle most exterior cleaning needs, including window and gutter cleaning. If you have something in mind that is not on our Services page, ask anyway. We will tell you honestly whether it is a job we can take on.

Yes. We work on houses, townhomes and rental properties of all sizes, covering siding, roofs, decks, gutters and the brick and concrete around the home.
Yes. Commercial power washing is one of our core services. Business owners and property managers use us to keep building fronts, entrances, sidewalks and parking areas clean and presentable, and we also remove graffiti when it shows up.
Apartment complexes and condos, commercial buildings, service and gas stations, restaurants, storefronts, shopping centers, parking garages and schools. If your property is a different type, get in touch and describe it.
Yes. We are happy to talk with property managers and owners about apartment buildings, condos and commercial sites. Send the address, the surfaces involved and anything we should know about access, and we will take it from there.
No. We do need access to your outside water faucet, though. If we are washing the house, please remember to close your windows before we get started.
A short description goes a long way: the type of property, the surfaces that need attention, roughly how big the area is and what you are seeing, such as mildew, stains or loose boards. Photos sent by email help too. In some cases we will need to look at the area in person before quoting.

Yes. Baltimore City and Baltimore County are both part of our service area, and our office is on Durwood Road in Baltimore, so a lot of our work is close to home.
Yes, within our service area. Along with Baltimore City and Baltimore County, we cover Anne Arundel, Carroll, Harford and Howard counties. We cannot promise service outside those six areas, but you are welcome to call and ask.

Yes, quotes are free. Estimates are given in writing and are valid for 60 days unless otherwise noted, so you have time to decide.
No. In some cases, though, we will need to look at the area in person before we can give an accurate price.

General answers about how power washing works, what it can do and how often it makes sense.
Over time, dirt, grime, mold, mildew and other pollutants build up on siding, decks, roofs and concrete. Washing removes that buildup, which keeps surfaces looking better and helps with upkeep, since regular maintenance usually costs less than dealing with neglect later.
Most people use the two terms to mean the same thing. Strictly speaking, power washing often uses heated water while pressure washing does not. What matters more is using the right pressure and cleaning solution for the surface, and some surfaces are better cleaned at low pressure.
Used the wrong way, high pressure can damage softer materials. That is why we match the method to the surface, and why delicate surfaces get a gentler approach than concrete or brick. If you have concerns about a particular material, mention it and we will talk it through first.
Our techniques are meant to remove only what you want removed. If you actually want paint taken off a surface, that may be possible too. Ask us about your specific surface and we will let you know.
It depends on the surface, the amount of shade and the weather it gets. Many homes do well with a yearly wash, while shaded walls, roofs under trees and gutters may need attention sooner. After seeing your property, we can suggest what makes sense.
Yes. We work throughout the year, but we cannot power wash when temperatures are below freezing. Gutter cleaning and gutter guard installation need temperatures above 40 degrees.
In most cases, removing dirt, algae and stains makes a noticeable difference. How much depends on the surface and its condition, so we will be honest with you about what to expect before any work starts.
That is your call, but high pressure in untrained hands can strip paint, gouge wood or force water where it should not go. If you are unsure how a surface will react, talk to us first. The advice costs nothing.
